Urgent/Emergent Services

The ASH Urgent/Emergent policy defines Urgent and Emergent services and outlines the coverage requirements for these services. State mandates, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, or specific health plan delegation agreements may require modification of some sections of the Urgent/Emergent policy for compliance. Where this occurs, the Urgent/Emergent policy is modified and approved as applicable.
